As you might gather from this picture I'm a huge fan of Grayson Perry! .....this book is a delight, honest truthful and full of insights, plus she/he's a great artist. It's really worth a read and the story of his home life is an interesting example of how your upbringing can create an original aesthetic brain and an artist's metality!
